Privacy
Privacy-conscious by design.
This page explains the operating principles that will govern personal and health information handled by AUSIND Health.
Draft for legal review: This policy must be reviewed by an Australian privacy lawyer before public patient-data collection begins.
1. Who operates AUSIND Health
AUSIND Health is a registered business name of EDUMIND GLOBAL PTY LTD, Australia (ABN 87 700 708 087). It provides non-clinical facilitation and coordination and is not a healthcare provider or health insurer. Privacy enquiries may be sent to info@ausindhealth.com.au.
2. Information we may collect
At initial enquiry stage, collection is limited to basic identity and contact details, the broad treatment area being explored and communication preferences. Medical records and detailed health information should not be submitted through the initial enquiry.
3. Why information is used
Information may be used to respond to enquiries, explain the facilitation process, coordinate services you request and meet legal, security or recordkeeping obligations.
4. Health information and consent
If you choose to proceed, health information should be collected through a separate secure process with an appropriate collection notice and consent. Access should be restricted to people who need it for the requested coordination.
5. Overseas disclosure
Where information needs to be shared with an independent provider in India, AUSIND Health should explain the intended recipient and purpose, obtain applicable consent and apply appropriate contractual and security safeguards.
6. Security and retention
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards should protect information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information should be retained only as legally required or reasonably necessary.
7. Access, correction and complaints
To request access or correction, or to raise a privacy concern, email info@ausindhealth.com.au.
